The X:05 hockey skate is the base model in Bauer's Vapor line. The upper of this skate is comprised of reinforced mesh, with a thermoformed X-Rib pattern that will form snugly to your feet. The inner lining of the X:05 is brushed nylon, which is standard for a hockey skate in this price range.

Bauer's hockey skates tend to give the ankle and heel lots of support and the X:05 model sticks to this trend: there are embossed heel cups and close-cell foam ankle padding that will help to prevent injury.
