Like other hockey skates in the Stealth line, the Stealth S17 Black Limited Edition model has the Coil Technology boot form, which has a composite construction. Easton promotes the lightweight Coil Technology design as being twice as responsive as traditional skates, which rely on plastic. The Stealth PadLock, another feature shared by all Stealth hockey skates, consists of a molded anatomical ankle shape that locks down your heel solidly. The Bio-Dri Clarino Nash brushed liner keeps your feet dry at the same time as providing a classic feel. The composite toecap of the S17 Black Limited Edition hockey skate is fully covered by a Vibram rubber toe guard, which Easton promotes as one of their longest lasting. The ELITE blade runner of this skate is both lightweight and stiff like real steel. There are size options available for the Easton Stealth S17 Black Limited Edition hockey skates. These size options, which are different in North America from the rest of the world, are part of what set the S17 Black Limited Edition apart from the S17 Composite model (besides the S17 Black Limited Edition's special Vibram rubber toe guard and all black finish).
