A molded footbed provides the feel of a custom-fitting boot, also helping to absorb excess impact on the blades. The "Bladz" are constructed of stainless steel for long-lasting sharp edges, and are built to last without the formation of corrosion or rust. The EQ1 also features a low-profile injected outsole that is strengthened in areas of common wear and maintains a low over center of gravity. LD foam ankle padding and a thick felt tongue are also included for added comfort.
