Easton Synergy EQ3

The Synergy EQ3 is a semi-professional ice hockey skate from Easton that offers a step-down from the company's Synergy EQ4 model and a step-up from the Synergy EQ2 model. Designed primarily for amateur players involved in both competitive and non-competitive play, the EQ3 features Easton's UniBody design allowing it to function as a single composite structure.

The skate's quarters comprise a glass-composite material for optimal reinforcement, and include a heat-moldable proprietary thermo-set flue that provides added comfort and stronger performance. The inside of the boot is lined with highly-absorbent microfiber that prevents moisture retention, and is coupled with a perforated Dry Flow footbed for excess drainage and aeration. The interior of the skate features Easton's Ideal Fit heel and ankle support, an anatomical padding system that conforms to the player's foot and reacts to heat levels. The outsole of the EQ3 features a lightweight molded composite material that remains functional with minimal added weight, and includes the Razor Bladz II blade holder and runner system. This system allows the blade of the skate to contour slightly while turning, allowing for sharper angles and a more economical use of energy. Furthermore, the skate features Elite Runners blades that utilize a centric power tab for increased durability and stiffness.
