The unidirectional fiber core of the TPS 5030 CC offers flexibility and balance. The fiberglass/carbon fiber weave of this stick is saturated with a custom blended resin, a design that provides lots of durability and response. The carbon blade of the TPS 5030 CC has a high tensile strength, and offers consistent puck control and quick shots. This stick differs from the identically priced TPS 9950 IC model in that the TPS 9950 IC has a flex of 95 (instead of the TPS 5030 CC's 78/88 flex) and color options. The Sher-Wood TPS 5030 CC comes in wood grain.
