The shaft of the TPS PMP 5030 is birch, and is designed with the multi-lamination technique. This design makes for a durable shaft with a consistent feel. This hockey stick differs from the lower cost TPS 5000 PP9 model in that it has a two-piece aspen core, which provides added durability. However, this stick lacks the higher cost TPS 5100 PP9's ABS blade (which allows you more control and power in your shots and passes). The Sher-Wood TPS PMP 5030 comes in a Wood Grain/Black color.
